Job description

Join our dynamic psychiatric team at a well-regarded healthcare facility in Natick, Massachusetts. This locum tenens opportunity focuses on child and adolescent psychiatry, requiring board certification and CPI training. The role involves managing a patient load of 6–10 encounters per shift in an acute inpatient setting, with a schedule highlighting weekday daytime hours.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents
  • Manage psychiatric conditions such as anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders
  • Utilize treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT
  • Conduct involuntary commitments and apply seclusion and restraint therapies as needed
Qualifications
  • Massachusetts medical license
  • Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, others
  • CPI training required
  • Ability to manage 6-10 patients per shift
Working Hours
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Skills
