CPG procurement refers to the process of sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services needed by companies in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. This involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing costs for items like raw materials, packaging, and finished products. Effective CPG procurement is crucial for maintaining supply chain efficiency, reducing expenses, and ensuring timely product availability in the market.
