Overview:
NTT DATA is seeking a driven Business Development Lead to identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the CPG industry, with a focus on our client in the Bottle and Brewing segment. This is a performance-based role centered on relationship development and market access, designed for a professional with established networks in the CPG space who is ready to open doors and create meaningful introductions for our sales and delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize an established CPG network to identify prospective clients, facilitate introductions, and secure meetings with key decision-makers in our target account.
  • Execute targeted outreach communications, articulating NTT DATA's portfolio of services and qualifying opportunities prior to engaging the sales and delivery team.
  • Represent NTT DATA within your by deepening relationships and maintaining a consistent presence with the client. Continuously expand the network by identifying new contacts and building credibility.
  • Develop a strong command of our service offerings and digital transformation capabilities in order to effectively communicate our value proposition and generate informed interest during initial client engagements.
  • Maintain a polished and credible professional presence to build trust and establish NTT DATA as a valued partner in the eyes of our client.
  • Monitor and report on outreach activity, meetings secured, and pipeline development, providing regular updates to the leadership team on client progress and opportunity status.
  • Collaborate with the sales and delivery leadership to facilitate effective transitions following initial introductions, maintaining engagement with client relationships through the early stages of the sales cycle.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or sales within the CPG industry.
  • Established professional network and active client relationships within the CPG industry, specifically in Bottle and Brewing.
  • Demonstrated history of relationship development and business introduction within the CPG sector, with recognized standing among key industry stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented and self-directed, with a demonstrated ability to proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with a high degree of initiative and persistence.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional presence and the ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders across diverse organizational environments.
  • Proficient in conducting outbound business development activities, including written communications, telephone outreach, and independent scheduling of client meetings.
