Remote from Dallas, TX (Preferred) or Chicago, IL
Experience Required
15 to 20 Years
Role Type
Individual Contributor (with matrixed technical & delivery team support)
Role Purpose
As the Client Partner (Associate Director) for the Consumer vertical, you will be the primary face of LatentView Analytics across a dedicated portfolio of 2-3 strategic CPG and Retail accounts. You will own the health, growth, and delivery excellence of these engagements, bridging the gap between our clients' complex business objectives and our advanced technical execution teams.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor leadership role designed for an expert consultant and growth driver. The ideal candidate will bring enterprise-scale account management experience from specialized analytics or technology services firms, combined with a deep understanding of the CPG and Retail landscape. You will leverage a matrixed, high-performing support team to scale multi-year analytics partnerships working across client business, data science, and IT organizations.
Account & P&L Leadership
Own and manage a strategic portfolio of 2-3 major CPG/Retail accounts with full accountability for revenue growth, margin expansion, and overall account profitability.
Drive strategic account planning and construct multi-year analytics roadmaps aligned with clients' long-term business goals.
Ensure disciplined commercial governance across pricing models, statement of work (SOW) structuring, contracting, and margin management.
Lead internal portfolio reviews, pipeline management, and precise revenue forecasting for assigned accounts.
Relationship & Account Management
Navigate the unique cultures of Fortune 500 retail and CPG giants to build deep, long-term trust with executive leadership and stakeholders.
Anticipate client needs before they become formal requests, positioning LatentView as a proactive, strategic partner rather than a reactive vendor.
Build trusted advisor status with CXOs, Business Unit Heads, and functional leaders across the enterprise.
Expand LatentView's footprint within existing accounts through the proactive cross-selling and upselling of specialized analytics capabilities.
Strategic Consulting & Analytics Intervention
Translate complex business problems into structured data and advanced analytics roadmaps.
Identify operational 'blind spots' across the client enterprise-specifically within Commercial Analytics/RGM, Marketing analytics and Supply Chain Analytics - and deploy analytics solutions to improve day-to-day decision-making.
Champion advanced commercial analytics solutions, helping clients unlock value from data to improve operational efficiency and commercial strategy.
Synthesize complex analytics outcomes into clear, measurable business value for client executive leadership teams.
Delivery Governance & Matrix Collaboration
Partner closely with delivery leadership to ensure high-impact, seamless execution across complex, multi-workstream engagements.
Orchestrate and guide supporting technical and delivery teams assigned to your accounts, maintaining quality, scalability, and high client satisfaction.
Drive value realization conversations and shift engagements toward outcome-led delivery models.
Experience & Qualifications
15 to 20 years of experience with a strong career focus on professional services, management consulting, or specialized analytics firms.
Proven track record as a Client Partner or Strategic Account Director overseeing Fortune 500 CPG or Retail accounts.
Demonstrated experience managing account P&L, with a history of driving organic account growth and commercial optimization.
Deep domain depth in CPG and Retail, with functional familiarity across Commercial Analytics/RGM, Marketing analytics and Supply Chain Analytics .
Strong collaborative leadership skills -proven ability to influence and guide matrixed technical teams without direct reports.
Executive presence with exceptional communication and boardroom credibility.
MBA or relevant advanced degree from a premier institution is preferred.
Key KRAs for the Role
Deliver and exceed revenue and profitability (EBITDA) targets across the assigned portfolio.
Drive organic account expansion and increase LatentView's share of wallet within designated clients.
Successfully deploy high-impact analytics solutions that resolve critical client operational blind spots.
Maintain exceptional client retention and CSAT scores through disciplined delivery governance and proactive relationship building.
Optimize account margins through rigorous pricing and resource optimization strategies.
