Job description

Role Summary

The CPFR / Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment Analyst is responsible for managing inventory flow from suppliers through the retailer’s distribution center network. This customer-facing role collaborates cross-functionally with supplier and retailer teams—including Sales, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics—to support in-stock performance, inventory targets, and fill rates, while driving improvements in forecast accuracy and transportation efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the replenishment process from supplier to retailer across a diverse product portfolio to support inventory targets, in‑stock performance, and service KPIs.
  • Review retailer forecast data—including seasonality, promotions, displays, and new item activity—and support forecast accuracy by identifying variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Leverage reporting and analytics tools to identify demand volatility, supply constraints, service risks, and efficiency opportunities, and support fact-based corrective action planning.
  • Build, maintain, and update recurring performance reporting, including monthly supplier scorecards and quarterly retailer performance scorecards.
  • Track and report key supply chain KPIs such as fill rate, on‑time performance, inventory levels, in‑stocks, days of supply, and sales versus forecast performance.
  • Serve as a day‑to‑day supply chain contact for assigned accounts or products, supporting end‑to‑end coordination between supplier and retailer teams.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with supplier and retailer teams—participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly calls and meetings to review performance and upcoming demand.
  • Provide insights and operational guidance to suppliers related to retailer transportation requirements, logistics compliance, and assessment programs.
  • Communicate supply chain risks, performance trends, and improvement opportunities to cross‑functional partners, supporting continuous execution improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting customer supply chain, replenishment, logistics, or inventory management functions.
  • Applied working knowledge of supply chain execution processes, including order management, outbound warehouse operations, freight movement, and customer receiving practices.
  • Experience with replenishment, forecasting and inventory management concepts in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong analytical skills experience with reviewing data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in order processing, replenishment systems, and standardized supply chain reporting tools.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across cross‑functional and external partner teams.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, adaptability, accountability, and attention to detail in fast‑paced environments.
  • Proven planning, organizational, and prioritization skills to manage recurring cycles and execution deadlines.

Location: Lincoln, RI.

Candidates must be able to work a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in the office.
