Job description

Are you a motivated leader looking for your next career opportunity? Urban Self Storage is seeking an experienced and adaptable Cover Manager to join our team. This dynamic role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting multiple locations.

As a Cover Manager, you will provide operational and leadership support across our Bellevue, Issaquah, North Bend, and Eastside facilities, helping ensure exceptional customer service, strong team performance, and smooth day-to-day operations.

***This is a full-time position with a Thursday through Monday schedule, averaging approximately 40 hours per week. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility
  • Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, changing light bulbs, pulling weeds, and ensuring all aspects of the facility are in working order
  • Handle customer accounts, including delinquency actions
  • Tour storage spaces and assist customers throughout the rental process
  • Manage daily deposits, cash counts, and petty cash
  • Collaborate positively with team members and leadership
  • Manage assigned KPIs to meet budget, occupancy, and rental goals
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through professional in-person, phone, and email communication 
  • Work closely with Store Manager to improve overall operations and accomplish company objectives 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Positive energy with a customer-focused attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as business needs require
  • Proficiency using computers, mobile devices, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and property management software, including accurate data entry and management of digital customer records. 
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
  • Prior management or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong listening skills and ability to follow direction
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

Essential Job Functions & Physical Requirements:

Compensation:

  • $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
  • Eligible for monthly bonus opportunities based on performance and company programs.
