Rajan Legal PC is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our general litigation practice group. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work on a variety of matters and use their skills over a range of case types.
Position: Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant
Location: Kendall Park, New Jersey

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal/ Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to our attorneys to ensuring they are able to carry out their duties. You will communicate with clients, compile case materials, and conduct research. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients and adversaries;
  • Prepare case-specific documents, including but not limited to demand letters, eviction complaints, settlement agreements, responding to written discovery and pleadings;
  • Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review ;
  • Maintain and update documentation;
  • Provide general administrative support;
  • Maintain a minimum annual billable rate of 1500 hours;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients; and
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role;
  • Certification or diploma as a Paralegal is preferred;
  • Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Highly organized with document management experience;
  • Excellent research skills;
  • Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software; and
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
