Schedule:

Sunday: 2:00pm-11:00pm
Monday: 3:00pm-11:45pm
Tuesday: 3:00pm-11:45pm
Wednesday: 3:00pm-11:45pm
Thursday: 3:00pm-11:45pm

Location: Oakland, CA.

Payrate: $24/hr.

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and observant Community Patrol Officer to enhance the safety and security of our residential and commercial properties. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, observe and report suspicious activities, and provide a reassuring presence for residents, visitors, and staff. As an unarmed officer, your focus will be on customer service, conflict de-escalation, and maintaining a safe environment through vigilance and proactive communication.
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to monitor premises for safety and security concerns.
  • Observe, document, and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.
  • Provide assistance to residents, guests, and employees, including offering directions and responding to inquiries.
  • Enforce community rules and policies professionally and respectfully.
  • De-escalate conflicts and handle minor disturbances, contacting emergency services when necessary.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain a detailed log of daily activities and incidents.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
  • Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and access points to ensure property integrity.
 
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong observational and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and drive for extended periods
