Job description

About the Role

This is a Front of House Team Lead role with an added specialization: along with the full front-of-house job, this team member keeps the club spotless and the pro shop well stocked — and earns a pay boost for owning that extra responsibility. Ideal for a proactive, disciplined person who takes pride in high standards.

Front of House Responsibilities (Core Role)

  • Handle the check-in process at the front desk and answer incoming calls.
  • Explain all membership offerings and ways to play at The Picklr.
  • Run all core programs at the club.
  • Use club software (PlayByPoint, Aircall, HubSpot, Wingfield, SWISH, etc.).
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with club cleaning and maintenance.
  • Complete assigned trainings on time.

Plus — Specialization Responsibilities

  • Build and monitor a court cleaning schedule for regular upkeep.
  • Monitor hardware (nets, benches, HVAC, TVs) to keep everything in good shape.
  • Reorder products for the pro shop and cooler.
  • Restock merchandise and update inventory in PlayByPoint.
  • Build and monitor a cleaning schedule for bathrooms, lockers, and lounge areas.

Qualifications

  • Able to clearly explain memberships and programming and communicate well with the team.
  • Can organize, create, and run program calendars and schedules.
  • Handles multiple tasks and stays composed during busy shifts.
  • Proficient with basic computer and club software; able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Preferred: 1–2 years sales/customer-service experience and pickleball knowledge.
  • Consistent, high cleaning standards and strong ownership.
  • Proactive — spots problems before they grow.
  • Balances speed and quality on routine tasks.
  • Trustworthy and accountable when working independently.
  • Full availability on at least two of the three weekend days (Fri–Sun).

Required Certifications

First Aid, AED, and CPR certification.
