Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking a current US (military, civilian, or contractor) IAMD/Counter Air professional to qualify as a Joint IAMD Instructor and Courseware Manager at the Joint Ballistic Missile Defense Training and Education Center (JBTEC), located at an off-base facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attain certification as a joint instructor through the JBTEC Instructor Checkout Program
  • Maintain certification while becoming certified in the various joint lessons and courses required
  • Maintain assigned courseware to currency and standards
  • Conduct research on applicable topics
  • Accomplish and participate in a wide array of assigned tasks supporting all aspects of the JBTEC
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with students, government personnel, and fellow JBTEC personnel.
  • Work with military and civilian students and personnel from all services and DOD organizations as well as other governmental agencies and appropriately cleared, designated foreign students
  • Must be able and willing to travel. Travel varies but averages 1-week per month

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of active-duty experience in the US military with at least 2 assignments in an IAMD-related position is required
  • Currently assigned OCONUS or other IAMD/Counter Air unit in VA, SC, FL, NV, or CA and willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO.

Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and hold an Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
