Job Duties
Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of internal and external requests related to students' academic records in full compliance with FERPA regulations. This role is committed to enhancing service delivery and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external constituents.
The position is responsible for: Processing re-admission applications and issuing formal notifications to students regarding admission decisions. Managing cross-registration applications and maintaining effective working relationships with Virginia Tidewater Consortium institutions. Processing academic record updates, including major changes, address changes, name changes, and drop/add forms. This role supports institutional integrity by safeguarding academic records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating efficient administrative operations within the Registrar's Office.
