The Training Manager is responsible fordirecting, planning and implementing the training program. Also, takes the lead with staff training andpersonnel development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

โ€ข Coordinates all staff training in an organizedmanner that minimizes disruption to institutional operations.
โ€ข Provides formal evaluation of all trainingactivities.
โ€ข Participates in developing education objectivesfor staff.
โ€ข Ensures that staff receives training consistentwith the needs of their job classifications and pertinent to their work.
โ€ข Conducts competency testing.
โ€ข Coordinates annual training needs assessment.
โ€ข Maintains contact with various correctionalorganizations to ensure training information is current.
โ€ข Establishes a system for recognition ofcompletion of training.
โ€ข Establishes a system for review of trainingindicators, i.e., incident reports, personnel actions, and complaints.
โ€ข Establishes and monitors training for allvolunteers assigned to the facility.
โ€ข Prepares monthly reports on progress andadditional program needs for the Facility Administrator, Corporate Office andthe Contracting Authority.
โ€ข Adheresto the policy and practice concerning issues of creation, editing,transmission, storage and disposition of all Protected Health Information (PHI)of Sequel Youth & Family Youth Services.

Must have verifiableexperience in the design and supervision of training programs
Computer Skills: Basiccomputer skills, including usage of email, Internet Explorer, and printdocuments.
