Assistant County Attorney I or II - Nobles County

Nobles County is a diverse, growing community located in Southwestern Minnesota. We are looking to hire an Assistant County Attorney I or II, dependent on experience. Those interested in working with a diverse community and in attaining jury trial experience are encouraged to apply.

This position will focus primarily on criminal prosecution. Caseload will be dependent on experience. Minimum qualifications are as follows:

Assistant County Attorney I: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, State of Minnesota Attorneyโ€™s License and Certification to practice before the District Court in the State of Minnesota, or will obtain prior to start date; one year experience as an attorney including courtroom experience is required. Salary dependent on experience, $85,134.40 - $116,043.20.

Assistant County Attorney II: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, State of Minnesota Attorneyโ€™s License and Certification to practice before the District Court in the State of Minnesota, or will obtain prior to start date; and a minimum of four years of experience as an attorney, including a minimum of three years of demonstrated courtroom experience in areas directly relevant to the work required in this position. Salary dependent on experience, $90,251.20 - $122,990.40.
