Pay Range: $18.47 to $23.92 per hour

Locations: Hamden, OH

First Shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Key Functions

  •  Examine lumber on chain conveyors or in racks for defects such as knots, stains, decay, splits,
    faulty edges, pitch pockets, wormholes, and defective milling.
  • Grades lumber to ensure specified dimensions.
  • Lead throughput for assigned production line.

  • Control and operate computer system for assigned production line

  • Scales board footage and records results.
  • Pulls graded lumber into unit form
  • Willing to learn/follow NHLA Lumber grading guidelines
  • Hand stack lumber as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience grading lumber 
  • Exhibit a high level of flexibility.
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team Player and Self-Starter
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US full-time for anyone other than current employer.
