Job description

Beechmont Country Club, located in Beachwood, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
 
Pay: 
$16.00 per hour
 
Schedule:
Seasonal, with hours varying based on course needs and weather.
 
Typical End:
August through October 2026. End dates may vary based upon return to school schedules and weather conditions
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with daily golf course maintenance and setup.
  • Mows and maintains turfgrass and landscaped areas.
  • Rakes and maintains bunkers.
  • Trims, edges, and performs general grounds maintenance.
  • Assists with course projects and improvements.
  • Operates basic grounds maintenance equipment safely.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or management team.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
Education and Experience:
  • Previous golf course, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Environment/Noise:
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
