Job description

Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is North America's Premier Hydraulic and Industrial Hose Sales and Service Company. Headquartered in Orange Park, Florida we offer Counter Service, Mobile Hose Repair, and state of the art OEM Centers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Due to current, as well as projected growth, HosePower is seeking a well-rounded, motivated self-starter to work our retail counter, as well as assist with day to day warehouse duties.
  • As A Counter/Warehouse Associate You Will:

  • On-site counter assistance to help customers determine best products to suit their needs
  • Fulfillment of orders based off pick incoming tickets for customers pick up or being shipped out.
  • Hydraulic hose identification and on-site fabrication (training will be provided)
  • Displays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility
  • Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Discusses use and features of various hoses and products; able to make recommendations based on needs
  • Resolves or alerts management regarding inventory issues or customer concerns
  • Prepares sales orders or quote requests
  • Maintain stock in an organized fashion on shelves or in proper locations
  • Upholds environmental health and safety standards
  • Other general warehouse duties, as assigned

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Prior experience in a retail sales setting
  • Experience using a forklift, valid certification preferred, but not required
  • Ability to lift and move over 50lbs.
  • Practical knowledge of warehouse, data processing, paper flow and operations procedures
  • Mechanically inclined abilities. Be comfortable using hand tools, running equipment including but not limited to saws and crimpers. Comfortable reading a tape measure.
  • Beginner to intermediate to advanced user of the Internet and Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to work independently and with little direction after proper training
