Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Count Room Clerk is also responsible for accurate collection, counting, and recording of funds while maintaining complete confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.

1. Interact with all guests and team members to positively influence the guest and team member experience. Demonstrate resiliency when faced with difficult situations under all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.

2. Accurate collection, counting, and recording of funds including but not limited to Table Games/Poker, Food and Beverage, Slots, ATM’s and NRT’s.

3. Securing and maintaining appropriate zones during slot drops.

4. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and Company policies in an ethical manner and require others to do the same.

5. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to define situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel. Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.

6. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.

7. Performs other duties as assigned. Count Room Clerk

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical/mental demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6-10 hours) with intermittent breaks.

• Must be able to complete repetitive arm and shoulder movements while lifting.

• Must be able to pull/push carts (with assistance) up to 800lbs.

• Must be able to work in varied temperatures and noise levels.

Mental Demands:

• Must be able to work in small, secured, enclosed space.

• Must be able to work under constant surveillance.

• Must be able to learn all equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to computers, currency counters, jetsorts, and a 10-key calculator.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in a smoking environment with loud noise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Knowledge:

• General math skills

Other:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.

• Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.

• Must complete all required company training.
