We're Hiring!

We are seeking a licensed Co-Occurring Substance Abuse Disorder Therapist or Co-Occurring Therapist-in-Training to join our team. This full-time position will serve clients in our Women's Recovery Journey program by providing therapeutic counseling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive assessment by collecting all information outlined in the program's Biopsychosocial Assessment Form.
  • Provide and updates diagnostic impressions based on information collected from the assessment.
  • Develop a treatment plan by establishing treatment goals with the client based on the assessment and diagnosis(es) and obtaining client/parent's signature on treatment plan.
  • Implement treatment by providing psychotherapy in accordance with diagnosis and treatment plan, applying a variety of psychotherapeutic methods with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Monitor progress toward treatment goals by evaluating and adjusting services provided, completing initial and ongoing clinical case review requirements as necessary.

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field

Experience Requirement:

  • Experience providing therapy to survivors of trauma. Experience providing therapy to clients with AODA issues.

Licensure Requirements:

  • Minimum: Wisconsin state certification as a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training
  • CSAC (Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor), SAC (Substance Abuse Counselor), or SAC-IT (Substance Abuse Counselor In-Training)
  • Must be eligible for Medical Assistance, Medicare (if applicable) and other third-party reimbursement.

Other Requirements:

  • Family Services is able to obtain malpractice insurance on your behalf.
  • Maintain eligibility to practice and active status with your licensing board through the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing.
  • Maintain eligibility for reimbursement from Medicaid, Medicare (if applicable) or other insurance panels.
