Mind Empowerment Counseling Services, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Community Health Specialist. Work Environment

This role is designed as a fully remote position, offering flexibility in your work environment while you engage with clients through telehealth. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliant, comprehensive client records for all sessions in accordance with audit standards and agency policies.
  • Oversee the internsโ€™ performance evaluation process, including their recognition, retention, and any necessary corrective actions, ensuring proper documentation is provided.
  • Monitor intern caseloads and assignments, ensuring that programmatic outcomes are met to the highest standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Centralized Intake, school contacts, and other clinical supervisors to address intern performance and case management issues as they arise.
  • Engage in continuous quality assurance and quality improvement of documentation to adhere to funding requirements and enhance service delivery.
  • Attend and contribute to both program and agency meetings, as well as mandatory training sessions.
  • Prepare programmatic and other reporting documents as requested by the Director to support strategic initiatives.
  • Accurately enter essential client data into the AWARDS electronic health record system in a timely manner.
  • Provide clinical consultation for clients during both crisis and non-crisis situations, utilizing therapeutic best practices.
  • Ensure a safe and organized clinical space, promptly reporting any maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
  • Participate in the implementation of clinical program objectives and adhere to established service delivery policies.
  • Deliver psychotherapy services tailored to the individual needs of clients, ensuring compliance with therapeutic standards.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process for interns, aligned with the agency's strategic goals.
  • Plan, promote, and coordinate recruitment events targeted at attracting interns and trainees.
  • Ensure compliance of interns and trainees with documentation requirements set by their universities and the agency.
  • Facilitate training workshops for interns and university students, keeping abreast of changes in federal, state, and county policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LCSWs work extensively with a diverse client population consisting of children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a variety of emotional and social challenges. This role requires cultural competency and a deep understanding of the unique needs of clients from different backgrounds. By employing tailored therapeutic techniques, you will address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to familial conflicts and behavioral disorders.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another related mental health discipline is required.
  • Must hold a valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

  • Current residency in the United States is required.
