Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable , hands on Logistics Assistant Manager to join our commercial signage team.  This role supports a daily movement, organization, preparation, and delivery of materials while helping keep shop and yard operations running efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, team oriented, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and willing to be hands on. This is not a desk only position . The role requires physical activity and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors, including in the yard and production/shop areas.  This position requires someone who is comfortable being physically active throughout the work day.   
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Assist with the daily coordination and organization of materials, signage, equipment, and deliveries 
  • Received, inspect, organize, stage, and move materials throughout the shop and yard
  • Safely lift, carry, load, and unload materials and signage as needed
  • Use basic hand tools and assist with general shop and material-handling tasks
  • Help prepare materials and signage for installation, delivery, or production
  • Maintain and organized, clean, and safe shop and yard environment
  • Assist with inventory organization and tracking of materials
  • Coordinate with production, installation, sales, and management teams to ensure materials are available when needed
  • Help prioritize daily logistics and ensure jobs and materials are properly staged and ready on schedule
  • Perform both indoor shop work and outdoor yard work as required
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
  • Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices
  • Take on additional hands-on operational responsibilities as needed to support the team
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management 
  • Track shipments and resolve any delivery or inventory issues
  • Inputting freight information & photos into system 
  • Track vehicle Maintenance
Physical & Work Environment Requirements: 
  • Lifting and carrying signage, materials, boxes, tools, and equipment
  • Loading and unloading materials and vehicles
  • Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving materials throughout the day
  • Working with basic hand tools
  • Working both indoors and outdoors, including the company yard
  • Working in varying weather conditions when completing outdoor tasks
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Reliable, dependable, and willing to take initiative 
  • Comfortable working with a team and communicating effectively 
  • Ability to follow instructions and prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Comfortable working in both an office environment and a shop/yard environment 
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools and material handling is preferred
  • Previous experience in logistics, signage, construction, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related field is a plus
  • Must be willing to participate in team meetings and contribute as an active member of the team
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.  
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software
  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and freight coordination
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Background in commercial signage, printing, or construction related industries
  • Familiarity with materials such as acrylic, aluminum, vinyl, and LED components
