A job at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to work at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States. TSMC Arizona's first fab will operate it's leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. The recently announced third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or even more advanced process technology, with production starting by the end of the decade. America's leading technology companies are ready to rely on TSMC Arizona for the next generations of chips that will power the digital future.

  1. Job Title - Brief description

We're seeking a proactive cost admin sponsor to be a core part of our facility team. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial health, ensuring precision, and providing the insights that fuel our strategic decisions. You will be the assistant in managing cost records of our cost records, directly supporting our operational efficiency and overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Budget Planning and Oversight: Assist the cost manager in developing a comprehensive budget scope for the FAC division.
  • Departmental Budget Management: Assist in checking the budget allocations for each department within the division.
  • Financial Negotiation: Under the manager's guidance, assist in communicating with the buyers and finance teams to support budget allocation for operational needs.
  • Purchase Control: Process procurement requests and orders in accordance with TSMC policy and with manager approval. Ensure all documentation adheres to financial policies and assist with tracking procurement progress.
  • Financial Reporting: Collect data and prepare the preliminary monthly financial status reports for the cost manager to present to facility managers.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging presentations.

Shift expectations verbiage (Choose appropriate option below)

  • (Technician) TSMC Arizona operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This position requires candidate to have ability and willingness to work any shift (day or night) in a compressed work week schedule once training is done. The compressed work week shift structure is Work 4 days on, 3 days off for one week and 3 days on, 4 days off the next week.  Shift is 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am.
  • (Engineer) All [Job Title] may be required to work a Compressed Work Week (4-day on, 3-day off, 3-day on, 4-day off), and may be required to work night shift on a rotational basis.
  • Scheduled night shifts and weekend on-call rotations in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Night shift rotations are expected to be no more than 4 months per calendar year.
  • Standard work hours: Monday through Friday
