Job description

The Manager, Regulatory Affairs – China Specialist will own all matters pertaining to regulatory affairs in China. The Manager will be responsible for coordinating Fresh’s internal efforts toward compliance and establishing appropriate communication protocols among LVMH Regulatory teams, Fresh HQ, and the LVMH local China RA team. Strong and effective cross‑functional partnership with all teams will be critical for continuing to secure the Fresh business in China.

Job responsibilities
  • Stay abreast of China Regulations and new developments, independently and with LVMH Regulatory Partners
  • Establish Communication Protocols between and among Fresh HQ Regulatory Affairs (RA), LVMH Central RA, and LVMH China RA
  • Liaise with China RA, weekly calls
  • Manage copy and claim review + risk assessment for China Market
  • Lead naming translation process with China RA
  • Review and Approve Chinese language artwork, ensure compliance with China cosmetic regulations
  • Assist with regulatory documentation and technical assistance to support pre‑market registrations
  • Manage the acquisition of all China Hygiene Permit with China RA (New and Modifications)
  • Daily maintenance of the China projects tracking system
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting regulatory KPIs.

  • Become familiar with the fresh Product Portfolio
  • The intricacies and communication protocols of Fresh and LVMH Regulatory Affairs
  • Key understanding of interaction with the LVMH RA Teams and its implementing regulations

  • Design an improved communication flow among Regulatory partners
  • Educate key internal partners regarding China regulations and its impact on the fresh business
  • Establish credibility and trust with Marketing & Regulatory teams
Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
Profile

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, Master’s a plus
  • At least 4 years’ experience in regulatory affairs within a highly regulated industry (i.e. Cosmetics, Food/Beverage, Pharmaceuticals)
  • Experience working with China regulation required
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence individuals within all levels of the organization
