Job Description

MAKE UP FOR EVER, a subsidiary of LVMH, is searching for an enthusiastic and driven Sales & Education Executive, NJ/PA to join our vibrant team. As a Sales and Education Executive, you will not only have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional sales skills but also empower individuals through comprehensive makeup education. Sales

  • Develop, implement, and execute innovative strategies in assigned regions to achieve sales targets and boost revenue.
  • Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with Sephora and Beauty Advisors, ensuring their makeup needs are always met.
  • Perform captivating product demonstrations and consultations to ignite customers' excitement and drive sales.
  • Manage, lead and develop Make Up For Ever Market Specialists (MS) and Selling Specialist team in driving retail sales.
  • Lead all aspects of gondola inventory and visual merchandising ensuring any related issues are resolved.
  • Partner with the Regional Manager to plan store visits during key hours for maximum sales impact.

Education and Artistry

  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge and training to Market Specialists, Selling Specialists, Sephora Beauty Advisors, and retail staff.
  • Create and develop compelling training materials, presentations, and resources that fuel the thirst for knowledge among our partners and customers to support educational initatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and product launches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and Sephora teams.
  • Conduct client visits, delivering exceptional customer service and uncovering growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our Education team to develop sales and promotional materials.

Administrative

  • Tuesday - Saturday work week with 2 monthly administrative days.
  • Analyze and monitor market trends, business data, study competitor activities, and understand customer preferences.
  • Strategically build quarterly calendars in Outlook
  • Conduct interviews, hire, coach, and manage the performance and travel of Market Specialists and/or Selling Specialists in the region.
  • Maintain individual and team in-store bookings via Sephora's Happening Now system.
  • Follow individual scheduling guidelines set by Sephora and ensure internal alignment.
  • Provide useful recommendations for improvement and contribute to our growth.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in field sales, retail management, education and leadership (Sephora and cosmetics experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of makeup techniques, products, and trends.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to exhibit basic makeup artistry skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Charismatic individual with strong negotiation and communication talents.
  • Availability to work key business hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be capable to travel, drive and maintain a valid driver's license, with proof of insurance.
  • Must be physically able to carry boxes of a reasonable weight and work in a fragrance filled, cosmetic environment.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a corporate credit card.
