Job description

Corvac Composites LLC in Morgantown, KY is seeking to fill the position of Lead-Production. This is an hourly 3rd shift position, with hours primarily being Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am with OT as needed. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership to the production floor team in an auto parts manufacturing plant, ensuring timely production of quality parts for shipment to customers.

Qualifications:·
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Be able to stand, walk, bend, and twist for 8 hours
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to use and read tape measures.
  • Basic knowledge of all machines and lines
  • Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred


Duties and Responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

  • Adhere to and enforce all Corvac policies and procedures.
  • Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
  • Have a basic knowledge of all machines and lines, and ability to perform all jobs.
  • Give directions to associates and place them where needed.
  • Ensure Production paperwork is properly completed.
  • Ensure housekeeping is satisfactory and operator areas are neat and clean, Enforce 5S procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide repair priorities to Maintenance.
  • Provide effective shift to shift communications.
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality as required
