APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Detroit, MI looking to add Production Operators to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to operate and support corrugated box manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products safely, efficiently, and according to production schedules. What your day will look like:
  • Operate corrugated box manufacturing equipment in accordance with production standards and safety guidelines.
  • Load and feed corrugated sheets into machinery to support continuous production flow.
  • Stack, bundle, and palletize finished products for shipment and storage.
  • Inspect finished boxes for quality, accuracy, and defects to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Follow daily production schedules, work orders, and supervisor instructions to meet output goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Support machine operators and production leads with various production tasks as needed.
  • Assist with basic machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers following training and established procedures.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
What we are looking for:
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8–12-hour shifts.
  • Capable of lifting and moving 25–50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record and commitment to punctuality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
