What are Correctional Supervisors?

Correctional Supervisors are professionals who oversee the daily operations and staff within correctional facilities such as prisons or jails. They supervise correctional officers, manage inmate activities, enforce rules, and ensure the safety and security of both staff and inmates. Correctional Supervisors also handle incidents, coordinate with other law enforcement agencies, and may be responsible for training new staff. Their role is essential in maintaining order, discipline, and the overall functioning of correctional institutions.
