You'll manage strategic and material-science focused corporate accounts-Materials Science Imaging Solutions, material analysis, and microscopy equipment (digital and industrial microscopes)-to key industrial and research customers.
Job Duties
• Maintain and grow sales in assigned corporate/industrial accounts territory.
• Develop proposals, accurately quote pricing and delivery schedules.
• Give technical product demonstrations and training to engineering and QC staff.
• Partner with product specialists and field engineers to deliver full solutions.
• Monitor customer usage and satisfaction; proactively solve issues.
• Track and report on opportunities, pipeline, and account performance via CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
• Gather voice-of-customer feedback to inform product enhancements.
• Stay current on market trends and competitive solutions in materials science.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events as needed.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in materials science, engineering, physical sciences, or related technical field (Master's/PhD or MBA a plus).
• 3-7 years experience in B2B sales of industrial equipment (automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, MedTech, microscopy and analytical instruments).
• Technical proficiency in materials testing methods (industrial sales, microscopy, etc.) preferred.
• Strong technical and commercial communication skills; able to deliver polished demos.
• Familiar with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and MS Office suite.
• Willingness to travel (~25-50%).
• U.S. person status may be required (export-controlled equipment).
