Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.

Assignment Details:
โ€ข Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified โ€“ Acute Leukemia Unit (15 East)
โ€ข Start Date: July 27, 2026
โ€ข Contract Length: 16 Weeks
โ€ข Shift: Nights โ€“ 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM โ€“ 7:30 AM)
โ€ข Schedule Type: Self-Scheduling (no block scheduling)
โ€ข Float Requirement: Required to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed
โ€ข Orientation: 72 hours total (Week 1 dayshift orientation + on-unit precepted training)

Unit Overview:
โ€ข Adult and Geriatric patient population
โ€ข 24-bed Acute Leukemia/Hematology inpatient unit
โ€ข Primary focus on newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
โ€ข High-volume administration of blood products, IV antibiotics, and electrolyte replacement
โ€ข Strong emphasis on infection prevention and patient fall prevention protocols
โ€ข Typical staffing goal: 1:4 (may flex to 1:5 based on unit needs)

Required Experience:
โ€ข Minimum 2 years of RN experience
โ€ข Minimum 1 year of inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience (within most recent 3 years)
โ€ข Must have current specialty experience for clinical approval
โ€ข Experience with Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias required (hard stop)
โ€ข Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

Required Certifications:
โ€ข BLS
โ€ข ACLS
โ€ข ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification
