Corporate Healthcare Dietician

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Healthcare Dietician to join our team at Garden Springs Healthcare. As a Corporate Healthcare Dietician, you will provide leadership, guidance, and operational support to facility dietary teams to ensure high-quality resident care, nutritional outcomes, food safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical nutrition leadership and support to Registered Dietitians and dietary teams across all assigned facilities.
Ensure timely completion of nutrition assessments, care plans, MDS documentation, and resident nutrition interventions.
Monitor nutritional outcomes, including weight management, hydration, skin integrity, tube feeding management, and therapeutic diet compliance.
Review high-risk resident cases and provide recommendations for nutrition interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and quality measures.
Standardize nutrition care practices and policies across all facilities.
Oversee food production systems, menu implementation, and meal service operations.
Ensure menus meet regulatory requirements, resident preferences, and nutritional standards.
Evaluate food quality, sanitation, portion control, and meal presentation.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with CMS, state health department, OSHA, food safety, and sanitation regulations.
Conduct routine mock surveys, audits, and compliance reviews for dietary departments.
Prepare facilities for annual surveys and assist with plans of correction when needed.
Leadership & Training:
Provide mentorship and ongoing education to dietary managers, food service staff, and clinical teams.
Develop and conduct training programs related to nutrition care, food safety, therapeutic diets, and regulatory readiness.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of dietary leadership staff.
Operational Support:
Travel regularly between assigned facilities to conduct site visits and operational reviews.
Participate in corporate quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Analyze operational and clinical data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and budget planning.
Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in applicable state(s) required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
Multi-site management experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey process, and food safety standards.
Experience with electronic medical records and dietary management systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel frequently to assigned facilities.
Ability to stand, walk, and inspect kitchen and clinical areas for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
