About the Team

The corporate security and facilities teams work closely together with a focus on communication, flexibility, and finding creative ways to solve problems.They use personal and professional networks to create rapid resolutions to issues that arise in our corporate facilities throughout the region.

About the Role 

You are responsible for all things related to protection of assets at our corporate facilities while maintaining professionalism, integrity, team play, effective communication and dedication.  

Responsibilities 

  • Specify, budget for, track, manage and report on physical security assets, equipment, services, and vendors 
  • Manage contracted security guard services for all Corporate locations/facilities 
  • Oversight and management of all aspects of security to protect properties, buildings, and assets 
  • Utilize the Closed-Circuit Television ("CCTV"), access control system, and intrusion system monitoring 
  • Develop, recommend, test, and maintain security policies and procedures for corporate facilities with the advice and consent of the company's VP of Corporate Facilities
  • Proven experience in a senior information security role, preferably in a complex and regulated environment 
  • Act as liaison for the Asset Protection (AP) Department with other departments or organizations in activities related to the security of Williams-Sonoma corporate facilities 
  • Support corporate management and LP Department Leadership in all issues related to the security of Williams-Sonoma Corporate facilities 
  • Conduct or direct research, investigations, special projects, or litigation support as assigned 
  • Act as liaison with Local, State and Federal agencies 
  • Ensure that a high standard of performance and customer service are present in all work assigned

Criteria

  • Minimum of 5 years of physical security experience, financial budget management and vendor accounts management experience. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV or other site monitoring systems. 
  • Experience in the security of a multi-location corporate environment. 
  • Experience with a work order management system like Service Channel. 
  • P&L management experience. 
  • The following certifications preferred: 
    • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) 
    • Physical Security Professional (PSP)
