Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced corporate business development professional to lead strategic initiatives, transactions, and partnerships for the cloud computing business. This is a unique opportunity to join Amazon's central Business and Corporate Development (BCD) organization in an AWS-focused CorpBD role.
This role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of Amazon.

You will work with internal stakeholder teams to understand current cloud computing and AI trends and identify opportunities to drive growth and deliver innovation through inorganic initiatives and partnerships. We dive deep and provide thoughtful analysis, but have a bias for action, focused on quickly gaining enough context to enable informed decision-making. You will be required to handle multiple projects and be forward-thinking to effectively negotiate terms that benefit Amazon and our customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Take the lead to evaluate, negotiate, and manage complex and high-profile partnerships that create new capabilities or significantly advance strategies of our internal teams.
- Proactively seek out new partner opportunities, leveraging subject matter expertise and ability to develop conviction independently.
- Build internal relationships and act as a trusted advisor to AWS executives.
