Job description

We're looking for a curious, analytical, and driven M&A Analyst to join our Corporate Development team and help shape the future growth of the company through acquisitions, strategic investments, divestitures, and other transformational initiatives.
This role offers broad exposure to executive leadership, strategic decision-making, and enterprise-wide initiatives in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, business curiosity, and a desire to continuously improve how work gets done through data, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

This is a hybrid role spending at least 3 days/week in office at our Columbus, OH headquarters. Occasional travel will be required.
What You'll Do
  • Conduct industry, competitor, and market research to support M&A pipeline development and strategic growth initiatives
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisition targets, investments, and strategic opportunities
  • Perform valuation analyses including discounted cash flow (DCF), precedent transaction, and comparable company analysis
  • Prepare executive presentations, investment memoranda, and recommendations for senior leadership and Board-level discussions
  • Support due diligence activities, transaction execution, and project coordination across multiple workstreams
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax, HR, Operations, and business leaders to evaluate opportunities, risks, synergies, and integration considerations
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools, advanced analytics, Power BI, and automation solutions to improve reporting, streamline analysis, and drive continuous improvement across Corporate Development processes
  • Assist with post-transaction integration planning, project management and strategic analysis as needed
  • Contribute to a team culture built on collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Ad hoc analysis and projects in support of the CFO, and executive team

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in investment banking, corporate development, consulting, strategic finance, FP&A, private equity, transaction advisory, or other analytical business environments preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Capital IQ, FactSet, Tableau, or AI-enabled analytics tools is a plus
  • Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and finding smarter ways to work
