Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller (CPA) to oversee all financial operations for a stable, growth-focused organization. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while maintaining hands-on responsibility for accounting accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced experience with Sage 300 (ERP), and a proven track record of building reliable financial processes that support operational scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and financial policies
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Manage cash flow planning and banking relationships
  • Coordinate external audits and tax filings
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Optimize and maintain Sage 300 ERP functionality and reporting
  • Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy and growth initiatives
Qualifications
  • Active CPA license required
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Advanced proficiency with Sage 300 ERP
