POSITION OVERVIEW
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Cornerstone seeks a full-time, team-oriented individual to join our Operations team in our Washington, D.C. office to assist with a wide range of tasks related to Human Resources (HR) activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Facilitates the coordination of the firm's year-round D.C. and state intern program;
  • Assists with the new hire onboarding program;
  • Supports Human Resources Managers with recruitment efforts, as needed;
  • Maintains relative information and updates on HR document tracking;
  • Coordinates logistics surrounding the firm's participation in external job fairs for recruitment purposes;
  • Tracks the firm's alumnae community to maintain relationships and increase engagement; and
  • Supports the HR Team with ad hoc projects, as needed.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of HR related work experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have managed or worked with an internship program and have scheduling and/or onboarding experience.
BENEFITS
Base salary for this position shall be based on experience and level of education and range from $65,000 to $80,000. Employees are eligible for annual performance-based bonuses as well as full coverage of medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance premiums. In addition, employees are eligible to receive a 401(k)-employer match and shares in the firm's employee stock ownership plan, upon entry into the plan. Employees are eligible for paid time off and additional fringe benefits to perform their job duties (parking, cell phone coverage, etc.).
