TSMC Arizona is looking for a Chemical Lab Engineer/Analytical Chemist to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Chemical Lab Engineer/Analytical Chemist, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Setup chemical analysis methodology for Fab environment and raw materials quality control.
  • Incoming materials, raw materials local vendor qualification and audit.
  • Assist with local vendor qualification and reporting
  • Chemical expert for Fab event prevention, root cause clarification, trouble shooting and CIP.
  • Develop advanced analytic technology to fulfil the new generation requirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • BS degree is minimum requirement.
  • Major in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Material Analysis, or related field
  • Experience in chemical analysis instrument operation and method development like ICP-MS, GC-MS, IC, or related
  • Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus
