Job description

Exciting opportunity! 

**$250.00 SIGN ON BONUS - Bonus paid after 90-day supervisory period**

Wedgewood Rehab is looking for full-time Cook to join our Dietary team! Located near Irondequoit, this quaint facility with 28 beds takes pride in its small home-like environment. The position requires working days and evenings, and alternating weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience cooking in a skilled nursing facility, but all candidates are welcome! Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Cooking and preparing meals for residents in accordance to each resident's specific dietary needs

  • Cleaning and sanitizing work stations

  • Tracking dietary stock within the facility

  • Unloading/putting away deliveries from food suppliers

  • Assisting with dish washing duties 

  • Delivering excellent customer service

  • Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director
