Job description

Point Sebago Resort
Our cooks help to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience by preparing food following established protocols. This position is seasonal.
Reports to: 19th Hole Manager
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Keep all areas of the kitchen clean and organized.
  • Must be able to work off a prep list.
  • Prepare all menu items to order.
  • Assist in putting deliveries away.
  • Maintain quality and consistency in all products.
  • Stock product for next day.
  • Must clean all equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Must be able to work closely with the front of house to assure guests are satisfied.
  • Keep all food diary up to date
  • Supports and follows Cove Communities and Point Sebago policy at all times.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to function well in a high pace, sometimes high stress environment
  • Comfortable effectively communicating with all levels of guests and staff
  • Must be able to stand for long hours on your feet.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to handle high kitchen temperatures
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
