What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff movement, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
  • Assist with routine public-facing interactions, directional support, and security-related communications with staff, visitors, patients, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
