Essential Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Controls Estimator, you'll be responsible for developing accurate and timely cost estimates for projects ranging from small upgrades to large-scale installations. Reporting to the Estimating Supervisor or VP of Preconstruction, your role will include:

  • Preparing detailed proposals and cost estimates
  • Reviewing construction documents and identifying scope
  • Performing takeoffs using specialized software
  • Soliciting pricing from vendors and subcontractors
  • Attending pre-bid meetings and site inspections
  • Supporting change order pricing and project turnover
  • Maintaining estimating systems and BIM/design setups
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
