Job Description:

The Automation Engineer will primarily support and troubleshoot plant automation systems, including but not limited to:

  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Servo systems and servo drives
  • AC and DC variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Digital and analog I/O systems
  • Process control signals (4–20 mA, 0–10 V, discrete I/O)
  • Industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
  • Motion control systems and encoders

Electronic components typically supported include:

  • Relays and relay logic
  • Power supplies (AC/DC)
  • Contactors and motor starters
  • Sensors (photoelectric, proximity, pressure, temperature, flow, level)
  • Timers, counters, and signal conditioners
  • Terminal blocks, fuses, breakers, and protection devices
  • Control transformers and interface modules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting
