Maintenance Mechanic

• $28-$33/hour • Temp-to-Hire


About This Opportunity

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role also assists with maintenance projects, equipment improvements, and supporting other team members as needed.


Bonus Opportunity

  • $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay: $28-$33.00/hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire


Pre Employment Requirements

  • Client Interview Required

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC production equipment
  • Assist with maintenance projects and task-based assignments
  • Support maintenance team operations and provide backup assistance when needed
  • Utilize CMMS software and tablet-based maintenance systems
  • Operate forklifts, lifts, and other equipment as required
  • Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards
  • Participate in company-sponsored technical and computer-based training programs
Requirements:
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with tablet-based software systems
  • Ability to operate lifts and forklifts as needed
  • Ability to pass an entry-level maintenance assessment
