We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role will serve as the day-to-day operational leader of the accounting function while partnering closely to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the company's financial operations.

This position combines strong technical accounting expertise with people leadership. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading an accounting team, managing day-to-day finance operations, improving processes, and collaborating with leadership to support the continued growth of the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience leading accounting or finance teams.

  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing accounting or finance teams.

  • Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close processes.

Bonus Points For

  • CPA license or CPA candidate.

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce environments.

  • Experience with inventory and cost accounting.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with the Director of Finance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.

  • Lead, coach, develop, and hold the Accounting team accountable for delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial results.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance department.

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule while partnering with Human Resources.

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, and manage Finance team members to support departmental growth and business needs.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end and year-end close.

  • Review reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules to ensure accounting accuracy.

  • Help establish scalable accounting processes, documentation, and cross-training.

  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Purchasing, and Executive Leadership to support company initiatives.

  • Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Finance.
