Job description

The Project Supervisor position is a lead from the front role. Your experience in field installations will be invaluable as you help the technical teams perfect their installations. Consultation with sales, engineering, and accounting teams are also crucial for smooth project flow. This individual is considered an experienced installation technician with intermediate/advanced programming skills with commercial and residential products, able to drive project completion through project-based leadership of additional assigned technician resources. Daily/weekly tasks include, but are not limited to pre-wiring, trim-out, rigging, installation services (a/v, security, surveillance, lighting, shading, etc.), advanced hardware/software configuration, retrofitting, networking, programming, creation of daily work reports, and other tasks necessary to complete the project successfully.

This role is for a motivated and experienced individual on our ever-expanding installation team. This individual should have a positive attitude, work well on a team, communicate effectively, and be organized and adaptable while developing leadership skills within the project team dynamic.

This role may require working the occasional weekend, evening, or overtime from time to time. Travel distance, while generally local, can vary and occasionally require overnight commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Skills:

  • The ability to design, plan, and support the final customizations and troubleshooting of A/V projects of every scope and size

Required Skills:

  • Ability to lead and supervise a team to complete AV designs effectively and efficiently
  • Highly organized with the management of time and resources
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and creative thinking
  • Deep understanding of Google Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Required Experience/Education:

  • Extensive Knowledge of Savant, Control4, Lutron, and Crestron control systems
  • Six or more years experience in the installation, integration, programming and support of audio/visual systems hardware, software and technical infrastructure
  • Experience with streaming technology
  • Work experience in construction environments
  • Familiarity with large A/V projects and low voltage integrations
  • Solid understanding of home network and control configurations as well as the ability to troubleshoot those aspects of a project
  • Thorough experience in the installation, integration, programming, and/or support of audio/video systems hardware, software, and infrastructure
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with college coursework preferred

Preferred Certifications:

  • Design certifications for networking and/or applicable control systems (Control4, Savant, Crestron, Lutron)

Required Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle report
  • CEDIA certifications and/or coursework in audio/visual systems installation
  • Cedia Certification Level I and II coupled with any related coursework in audio/visual systems installation is required
  • Technical certification for networking and/or applicable control systems (Control4, Savant, Crestron, Lutron)
  • CEDIA or InfoComm certifications and/or coursework in audio/visual systems installation
