Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Clamp Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will operate specialized clamp trucks to efficiently load, unload, and handle materials within our distribution center. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and warehouse management will ensure smooth, safe, and timely processing of goods. Responsibilities
• Safely operate clamp trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders.
• Handle materials efficiently by performing order picking, shipping & receiving tasks, and load & unload activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklift attachments, and mechanical components to ensure safety compliance per OSHA standards.
• Assist with warehouse distribution activities including inventory control, stock rotation, and storage organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and materials handling.
Requirements
• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments with a focus on order picker operations.
• Experience operating clamp trucks is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate RF scanners, warehouse management systems, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools efficiently.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy lifting techniques, and materials handling procedures.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving or logistics roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions for order picking and load/unload processes.
