Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of high-volume perinatal experience.

Details
  • Level IV Maternal Designation facility with 26 LDR suites, including low intervention rooms
  • Unit includes 6 C-section suites, 14 triage rooms, 60 mother-baby couplet rooms, and 16 monitored ante-partum beds
  • Academic teaching service supporting large private OB practices
  • High-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing 500+ deliveries per month
  • 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage available
  • Facility operates a Perinatal Transport Program
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • 13-week assignment length
Requirements
  • Active RN license (TX or compact) required
  • BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
  • ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AAP required
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service preferred
  • S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
