Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Free-Standing ED position requiring TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications with no call requirements.

Details
  • Work in a 35-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department
  • Patient ratios of 4:1 or 3:1
  • Uses Meditech EMR
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Rotating weekends required (4 weekend shifts within a 4-week period)
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Team includes RNs, PCTs, Medics, and Unit Secretaries
Requirements
  • Active RN license (Texas or Compact) required
  • Current certifications: BLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of recent ER experience required
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
  • One professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Provide emergency care for trauma, stroke, and STEMI patients, including moderate sedation procedures
  • Best suited for high-energy candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Navy scrubs required for RNs
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
  • First-time travelers may be considered
