Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit (IMC) position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of cardiovascular experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details
  • Cardiovascular Care Unit (Intermediate Care) in a hospital setting in Denver, CO
  • Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

Requirements
  • Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular nursing experience required
  • Required certifications (must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment): BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • TNCC preferred
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
  • Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy and treatment monitoring
  • Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation as needed
  • Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Former permanent staff of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
