Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab position in Aurora, CO, requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Rehab or M/S RN and a CO or compact RN license.

Details
  • 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in Aurora, CO
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract
  • Patient ratio of 6:1
  • Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, 3–5 RNs, and 2–4 PCTs; night shift includes a charge nurse, 3–5 RNs, and 2 PCTs
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Floating between two Spalding campuses is required
  • Common procedures include wound care and patient transfers
Requirements
  • Active CO or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Rehab or M/S RN
  • Minimum 2 years of total clinical experience required
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • IV and blood draw skills preferred
  • Prior experience with a rehab patient population preferred

  • Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • One professional reference required for consideration
