The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students.

The Global and Social Learning Curriculum Supervisor leads PK12 curriculum development and implementation in Social Studies, World Language (Spanish), Character Development, and a One Hershey Story Curriculum. This role ensures programs are vertically aligned, standards-based, culturally responsive, and reflective of the schools mission. The Supervisor collaborates with teachers and leaders to design meaningful learning experiences that build global awareness, civic understanding, language proficiency, and character formation.

This is a twelve-month on-site position. It compensates between $96,000 and $129,000, plus an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PK12 curriculum design and alignment across Social Studies, Spanish, Character Development, and the One Hershey Story.
  • Steward the One Hershey Story Curriculum and integrate Hershey legacy-based learning into instruction.
  • Provide instructional coaching and deliver professional development for teachers.
  • Support culturally responsive, inquiry-based, and interdisciplinary teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and community partners to enrich global and social learning opportunities.
  • Use data to guide curriculum improvements and monitor implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, Social Studies/World Language Education, or related field.
  • Certification in Supervision or Educational Leadership (or eligibility).
  • 5+ years PK12 teaching experience, preferably in Social Studies or World Language.
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional coaching.
  • Strong knowledge of C3 Framework, ACTFL standards, and character education models.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive education and the Hershey mission.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students.
  • Candidate must be eager to actively engage with students.
