Do you excel at leadership and desire to make a significant impact? Dematic has an immediate need for a senior level Project Manager for a new and exciting project. The Senior Project Manager is entrusted with leading the delivery of the organization's complex, high-value, and strategically critical projects, typically with a scope ranging from $30M-$70M. This senior-level position demands strong project leadership, cross-functional insight, and the ability to navigate complex environments with influence and precision. The Senior Project Manager brings significant expertise in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and change leadership. A key focus of this role is building and sustaining strong, trust-based relationships with customers. This role will serve as a strategic partner who ensures alignment between project outcomes and client expectations. While operating without direct supervisory responsibilities, the Senior Project Manager leverages influence, credibility, and deep domain knowledge to: Guide project teams through ambiguity and complexity throughout a project life cycle. Acts as a mentor to less experienced project managers and helps support the development of best practices within the organization. Align project execution with organizational strategy and business goals, working in close collaboration with the Project Director. Ensure delivery excellence-on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards delighting Dematic customers. Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within their project teams.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $120,000 - $160,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all necessary activities, resources, and timelines, utilizing advanced project management techniques and tools.
  • Establish and maintain project governance structures, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop business cases and project charters, securing stakeholder buy-in and alignment.
  • Lead and motivate high-performing project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment mentoring project team members on project management best practices.
  • Develop and implement resource management plans, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of project resources across multiple projects.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated project plan using standard tools and methods that align with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Manage dependencies between project tasks and activities, ensuring seamless integration and timely completion.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, ensuring effective and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
  • Facilitate project meetings, providing strategic guidance and decision support.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Support negotiation of complex contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage vendor performance, monitoring adherence to contractual obligations and resolving any issues or disputes.
  • Develop and implement contract management plans, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage change orders and contract modifications, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes.
  • Develop and manage complex project budgets, ensuring adherence to approved funding levels.
  • Track project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget compliance.
  • Develop and implement cost control measures, maximizing project value and minimizing waste.
  • Forecast project costs and resource needs, supporting accurate budgeting and financial planning.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and executive leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively identify potential problems and develop contingency plans to minimize impact on project deliverables.
  • Lead complex problem-solving efforts, facilitating collaborative solutions and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management, as appropriate, providing recommendations for resolution.
